Harvest time

Breakfast break during our 1st Passage in Doosberg Grand Cru today. We pick only the third grape of each branch. The remaining grapes are looking perfect. The team has grown a bit since harvest started end August. On Thursday we will be complete.

We are preparing some rows for an eventual 2018 Eiswein in our Oestricher LENCHEN.
The last time we have picked Eiswein was in 2004. We don‘t know if it will be getting cold enough, but if so, we want to be ready. The beautiful and healthy Riesling grapes are promising to be quite stable for a while. Let‘s keep on playing!
